How does Prosence work?
Tell it what kind of talk you're walking into, then start a session and keep your phone nearby. Prosence listens to the conversation and, when you need it, tells you what to say next — in your earbuds, with a small buzz, or on your screen.
Can the other person hear it?
No. Coaching plays only in your earbuds. If you'd rather not wear any, you can feel a small buzz and read the tip on your screen instead.
Do I need special earbuds?
No. Any Bluetooth earbuds work, including AirPods. Prosence works on iPhone and Android.
How does it know it's me talking?
A short voice setup teaches Prosence what you sound like. It saves a voice print — a set of numbers, not a recording — so it can tell you apart from the person you're talking to. That's how it knows to help when they talk to you, and to stay quiet while you're on a roll.
Do I need to tell people I'm using it?
Often, yes. Some places require everyone in a conversation to agree before an app listens in. Check the rules where you live — our Terms explain more. Read the Terms.
What happens when my free minutes run out?
Your 15 free minutes can be spread across as many talks as you like. When they're gone, pick Pro, Premium, or Max to keep going. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play settings.
